Season steaks generously with Salt and Pepper Mixture and let rest for half hour
Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees
Add Oil and (1) Tablespoon of butter to a large cast iron skillet over high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the meat and sear all sides and edges until browned (about 15-30 seconds per side) to seal in the flavor.
Place steaks in the oven for 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 135 degrees. Remove from oven, add remaining butter, garlic clove and baste steaks with melted butter for about 2 minutes.
Let rest for 4 minutes, allowing the meat to reach a perfect medium rare.
